Natural Horsemanship
Natural Horsemanship has now gone International. A few of the famous clinicians are: Clinton Anderson, Pat and Linda Parelli, Chris Cox, and so many others. The reason behind these techniques are because so many people give up on their horses and don't take time and patience to get what they need done. Another mistake is trying to trailer load when you are in a hurry and your horse is afraid of the trailer. This gives a horse more reason not to want to get in. Some clinicians don't fit everyone's fancy but you pick one or two that does. Take what they show you and be a leader for your horse. Remember they are a herd animal and you are a predetor to them. They are also afraid of being in close spaces; think about it if someone comes at you and you are backed into a corner aren't you going to feel intimidated. If something flies across your face without you expecting it; Aren't you going to flinch or pull back. So do practice before you have the chance to get hurt. That is what it's all about. Enjoy your horses. A hoola hoop sounds like a rattle snake so use it in your training. |
